Lettered lower center: "Here lieth interred Iohn Sea of Vunderdowne in the parishe | of Herne Esquire. who took to wife Martha Hammond daugh | ter of Tho Ham: of S Albans in East Kent Esq: by whom he had | issue vi. sonnes & iii. daughters, & after her decease married | Sara Boys eldest daughter vnto Thomas Boys of Barefreston | Gent. by whom he had one sonne & one daughter. He lived and | died in Peace. Obiit 23, Februarii anno Dni 1604."
