Cutting [a]; purchased at auction by Arthur Ackermann & Son Ltd., London, England, at Christie, Manson & Woods, May 17, 1957 (lot 66), in "Pictures by old masters" [b]; purchased by Paul Mellon (1907-1999), 1963 [c]; by whom given to the Yale Center for British Art, 2000.
