Assigned a tentative date of 1835 in the Checklist of American imprints. However, the panorama was on exhibition in London in that year, making a later date more likely. Other editions were published in Boston in 1837 (Checklist of American imprints 43483) and in New York in 1838 (Checklist of American imprints 49507) and 1839 as the panorama toured America. Burford's Description of a view of the great temple of Karnak (Philadelphia : Merrihew and Thompson, 1840) has this note on p. 16: "A view of Jerusalem also exhibiting. Admittance 25 cents."
