BAC: British Art Center has 3 copies. Copy 1 is bound in gold- and black-stamped green cloth. Copy 2 has the same design, and is bound in red cloth. Copy 2 is imperfect: frontispiece wanting. Copy 2 has the bookplate of Gordon Newland. Advertisements: [4] p. at end of copies 1 and 2 (same ads). Copy 3 imperfect: lacks frontispiece and publisher's advertisements. Bound in contemporary red half roan and red cloth. Prize label: "Science and Art Department of the Committee of Council on Education. School of Art. South Kensington. Presented to Elizabeth Carroll for success in the elementary section of the course of instruction in art ... 1877."
