Leslie's original autograph manuscript for this work is now in the collections of the Yale Center for British Art (Department of Rare Books and Manuscripts).
BAC: British Art Center copy bound in contemporary brown half calf and marbled boards. Volume 1 bears the label of Malcolm Stearns Jr. Two letters, previously inserted, have been removed to the C.R. Leslie collection of manuscripts. The volumes probably once belonged to the artist Daniel Maclise.
