- Title on publisher's printed portfolio: Views in Sussex drawn by I.M.W. Turner, R.A. and engraved by W.B. Cooke with historical descriptions. With an allegorical design etched by Turner in collaboration with James C. Allen.
Two parts were intended, but only the first part was published.
The work is dedicated by W.B. Cooke to "John Fuller, Esq., Of Rose Hill, In The County Of Sussex."
The 11 plates comprises the five views, five title plates preceding each view, and a map of the Rape of Hastings, engraved by J. Cross after Thos. Allason.
