The copper plates were engraved by Henry Roberts, Francois Vivares and others; after designs by Watteau, Boucher, Durer, Bloemart, Le Clerc, Hollar and other masters.
The plates are lettered consecutively in two sequences beginning A and AA respectively. Plate AA is preceded by a divisional half t.p. reading "The Principles of Drawing Part II".
