BAC: British Art Center copy 1 is the Abbey copy. Bound in blind- and gold-stamped diced calf. Armorial bookplate of Samuel Ryland.
BAC: British Art Center copy 2 is extra-illustrated with all 50 original watercolor drawings for the plates. Present also are 7 additional drawings, some variants of the published illustrations, and some unpublished. All are executed in watercolor over graphite. The majority of the drawings appear to be signed WD (i.e. William Daniell). The volume is bound in gilt-tooled brown morocco. - Subject Terms:
