"The Green Island has been designed, produced, and published by Christopher Sandford at The Golden Cockerel Press, London, in Caslon's Old Face type with Pharos capitals on Arnold's mould-made paper. Composition and presswork under the supervision of F.J. Newbery at the Chiswick Press. Compositors: A.W. Dick and S.J. Blundell. Pressman: H. Barker. Printed completed on 1th March, 1946. The edition is limited to 500 numbered copies. Nos. 1-100 have been specially bound."--Colophon.
