Inscription at top of plate: This impression was taken off before the insertion of the artist's names. Ms inscription on verso of front cover: From the Roxburgh Library. Ms inscription on p. 30: Mr Clubb has printed here several cursory addtions, which I happened to make in his MS communication to Mr Hubbard. Ms inscription on recto of last free endpaper: The opposite note was written by D. Farmer.
