A catalogue of the third and most valuable portion of the collection of pictures of the late James Johnston, Esq. of Straiton and Champfleurie, N.B. : comprising about two hundred , some of high class, particularly the celebrated gallery pictures of "Dead Christ and St. Mary, by Guercino : The Miracle of Santa Casa Di Loretto, by Domenichino : A Grand Sea Storm, by W. Vandevelde : two large views in Venice, by Canaletti : and many fine productions of the Italian, Spanish, and Venetian Schools : including the works of Raphael, L. Da Vinci, Domenichino, Sal. Rosa, Titian, P. Veronese, Corregio, Tintoretto, Murillo, Velasquez, Ligozzi, Carravaggio, etc. : also a painted glass window and some miscellanies, which will be sold by auction by Mr. Rainy, at the Gallery, No. 14, on the East Side of Regent-St. in the division between Piccadilly and Pall Mall, on Wednesday, June 29, 1842, and following day, at one o'clock precisely, by direction of the executors.
