A catalogue of the valuable collection of Italian, French, Flemish and Dutch pictures : the property of, and collected many years back by the late Tho: Patton, Esq. and brought from his seat at Newmarket : comprising the works of the following great and celebrated Masters : the whole of them in their original state, viz. : Pordenone, Bassano, Caracci, Guido, Caravaggio, Lanfanco, G. della Notte, R. di Tivoli, L. Giordano, Murillo, Mengs, Vouet, Vernet, Q. Matsys, Holbein, Rubens, Snyders, Fyt, Rembandt, Du Jardin, Angelis, Zuccarelli, Canaletti, Pannini : among which are the Assumption of the Virgin Vouet, formerly in the Chapel of Marie de Medicis : the Rape of the Sabines, R. Mengs : and a curious original portrait of Henry VIII. by Holbein : also, a recent consignment of a few original pictures, by Murillo, Spagnoletto, Paveja, &c. : lately the property of a great Counsellor of State at Madrid, and brought to this country at considerable expence : which will be sold by auction, by Mr. Christie, at his Great Room, Pall Mall, on Friday, March , 1810, and following day, punctually at one o'clock.
