A catalogue of the valuable and pleasing collection of Cabinet Pictures, the genuine property of Mr. Holcroft : the greater part of which were selected in his tour through Germany, France, and the Netherlands : among them will be found many choice specimens of the Italian, Flemish, and Dutch Schools : the works of the following highly esteemed Masters : Guido, Rubens, Vandyck, Murillo, Guercino, L. Caracci, Baroccio, Backhuysen, Fuysdael, Teniers, Wouvemans, Ostade, &c. &c. : particularly a capital Sea Piece by Backhuysen, : a Landscape with rippling water, by Ruysdael, the figures by A. Vanderveldt : the Head of Old Franks, by Vandyck : a beautiful landscape and figures, by Berghem : the Entombing of Christ by Rubens, from the Cabinet of the Duke de Praslin : several by Teniers : two by Wilson : and the original sketch of the Death of Cardinal Beaufort, by Sir Joshua Reynolds : which will be sold by auction by Mr. Squibb, at his Great Room, Saville Passage, Saville Row, on Monday, February 16, 1807, at one o'clock.
