A catalogue of a most capital and valuable collection of Italian, French, Flemish, and Dutch pictures : the property of the late Thomas Hankey, Esq. dec. (in pursuance of the directions of his will) collected during the course of a number of years, by John Bernard, Esq., universally esteemed for his correct knowledge of the fine arts and superior taste in the line of the virtù : selected from the finest collections, both foreign and domestic, at a most liberal expence, and consisting of the undoubted works of the following great and esteemed masters : L. da Vinci, P. Veronese, J. Bassan, Proccasino, Corregio, Maturino, Parmegiano, H. Carracci, F. Laura, Sal. Rosa, Claude, C. Marratt, Poussin, Bourdon, Borgonione, Zuccarelli, Canaletti, Van Dyck, Teniers, Berghem, Ruysdael, Cuyp, Van de Velde, Jan Steen, &c. / which will be sold by auction by Mr. Christie, on the premises, the north side of Bedford Square, on Friday, June 7, 1799, and following day at twelve o'clock : to be viewed four days preceding the sale, by tickets, to be had only in Pall Mall : and to prevent improper persons from intruding, no one will be admitted without a ticket : catalogues may be ad at two shillings and sixpence, (to be returned to purchasers), on the premises, and in Pall Mall..
