BAC: British Art Center copy: Octavo. Marbled wrappers. In dark red quarter morocco, and greyish-pink cloth slip-case; gold lines on front and back covers, gold lettering on spine. Title-page. This pamphlet, published in D.C., is believed to be the first printing in America of a book of rules for horseracing. Written in ink on the binder's front flyleaf of this copy is a list of winning horses and their owners for races held in 1802 and 1803. Spine height: 6 1/2 inches. - Subject Terms:
